definitely you can get campus placement while in odd semester.
the compony gives you the date of joining which is after competing your final semester's final paper. it means it is guessed date that on that you are free from your college.
so, no worry, attend your campus interview.
it also depends on your college whether to allow you for or not.so also try to attend if other colleges arranged so!
the 'open campus' meant for attending anyone who fulfill their admission criteria. so also try for that.
