Yes sure for applying any government job you need to be first get graduation from a recognized college...
So donot worry and apply for government jobs...

As KSOU is an Open University, the most important recognition for this University would be DEC, however, if you want to get into a government job, it would be important to have a UGC approval, and as KSOU is approved by both UGC & DEC, in all probability you would be eligible for government jobs as well. However, the eligibility to apply for government jobs would be company specific so if a particular govt. association has some more requirements apart from this you need to fulfill those. if an Institute is approved by UGC it doesn't require AICTE approval.

friend i think ksou stands for karnataka state open univ. if this is being recognised by ugc and the courses it offered are recognised by aicte then there is no problem why u should not apply for govt. jobs. but to be doubly clear please go through ksou website because courses not recognised by aicte are not valid in terms of govt. jobs though u can apply for pvt. companies.

There are lots of government jobs are available for B.TECH students ,but you have to apply first and if you give labour must crack.

Karnataka State Open University was formally established on June 1, 1996 under the Karnataka State Open University Act of 1992.It now offers wide-ranging programmes leading to degrees from the graduate level to the doctoral level and also offers a variety of diploma and certificate programmes.So all the degrees & diplomas are valid throughout the country & you can easily get a good govt. job after completing B.Tech from KSOU.

ksou has not joint committe approval.so is it value for gov.job?

Karnataka State Open University is a recognised University of Distance Education Council (DEC), New Delhi, regular member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Delhi, permanent member of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), London, UK, Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU), Beijing, China, and also has association with Commonwealth of Learning (COL).

In Tamilnadu no open university has a chance to get in to government job. These certificates are given by government approval but they are not ready to give government job. All study centre people will say if u complete 2 then u can apply for government job. But clearly read government job details they say u have to complete 10 2 3 pattern otherwise ur not eligible. Even government is cheating us.

i am rly employee more than one and half year now i want to do btech from ksou so my degree will be valid in rrb or not.

I want join btech civil engineering in kou but after complete this is that any value for govt jobs
