Yes, you can be a software engineer if you haven't taken maths in your 12th class. But you must understand that without maths you cannot do bachelor of technology course because this course requires physics, chemistry and mainly maths.

Yes, it is possible to get a job in a software company without having studied Mathematics in the 11th and 12th grades. While Mathematics is a foundational subject in many technical fields, including computer science and software engineering, it is not always a strict requirement for all software-related positions.

Software companies have diverse job roles that cater to various aspects of software development, such as programming, testing, quality assurance, user interface design, project management, technical writing, and more. While proficiency in mathematics can be beneficial for certain roles, there are many other skills and qualifications that are equally important.

To enhance your chances of securing a job in a software company without a strong mathematics background, you can focus on developing skills in programming languages, software development methodologies, problem-solving, logical reasoning, and critical thinking. Additionally, gaining practical experience through internships, personal projects, and certifications can also help demonstrate your abilities and make you a competitive candidate.

It's important to note that the specific requirements for software jobs can vary depending on the company, job role, and industry. Some positions may prioritize mathematical aptitude, while others may prioritize programming skills or domain knowledge. Therefore, it's advisable to research the specific job requirements and skill sets sought by the companies you are interested in to tailor your preparation accordingly.
