Yes, you can appear in the JEE examination in the 2016 if you have passed your 10th in 2013 and age is 20 years.

The eligibility to appear for the examination is candidates must have passed the 10+2 from the recognised board with the PCM as main paper.

As the maximum age limit to appear for the JEE examination is 25 years and maximum attempt for Mains is 3 and two for the Advance. So you can appear in the examination. The examination is conducted in month of April.

The examination is conducted for the admission in the B.tech course after the 10+2 from a recognised government institution. The examination paper contains the question of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and candidates after qualifying in the stage I are eligible to appear for the Advance.

JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination. It is one of the engineering entrance examination held by CBSE for selection of students for their technical courses from the top government engineering colleges providing quality education and high placements like IIT, IIIT, NIT and ISM.

The examinations is held in two stages which are as :- Stage I) JEE Main and Stage II ) JEE Advance.

The qualifications required for appearing in the JEE Main examinations are as here under :-

* You must have a higher secondary school degree from a recognized board of education with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your main subjects with at least 50% aggregate in each of the mentioned subjects.

* Also your age must lie between 17 years to 25 years till the last date of year in which you are going to appear in this examination.

One can appear in the JEE Main examination at most three times that to in three consecutive years including that year in which one has appeared in their 12th board examination. But as you have done your 12th in the year 2013 so you were eligible for JEE 2013, JEE 2014 & JEE 2015 only not for JEE 2016.

For further details regarding the same examination you can log on the official link of JEE i.e; www.jeemain.nic.in.
