I have passed my class 12 in year 2014 with 66 percentage. I want to improve board exam in 2016 can jee main add my class 12 percentage of 2016 please answer eligibility for jee mains 2016.

With the changed pattern, now it is mandatory to have good percentage in class 12th along with marks in engineering entrance exam. So a large no. of students appear in improvement exam if class 12th. You can definitely appear for jee- mains for 2016 but you are not eligible for admission to IITs. Because its your 2nd year after 12th.

No, you are not eligible to appear in 12th standard improvement examinations in 2016 after passing your 12th standard board examinations in 2014. If you appear for 12th standard board examinations in 2016 then, your improvement score will be added in JEE Main 2016 examination. Candidates who have completed 12th standard with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects from a recognised board are eligible to appear in JEE Main 2016 examination.

Yes, you can appear for JEE Main exam 2016.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics with above 50% marks then you are eligible for JEE Main exam. 5% marks relaxation is provided for SC/ST category candidates.

JEE MAIN 2016 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The following criteria should be noted carefully to appear for the exam and get admission in your dream engineering college in India.

JEE Main Eligibility
- You must have passed senior secondary with physics , chemistry and maths as a main subjects.
