i want to know that what are the career option after bds

nd which type of attention paid by me for Mds

MDS is the best choice for you after completing your BDS course. You also have another option of doing post graduation in abroad.

You can also go for DNB after completing your MDS.

If you wants to go ahead with the first choice of doing MDS then my suggestion for you is to join mds preparation classes.

After BDS,U can put ur own clinic or work as a junior in some clinic or in govt hospitals... If u wish for higher studies,better do MDS

after bds you can go for higher studies or work as an junior to some doctors for some years and when you gain enough experience you can put up your own clinic

career after bds is very good in defence forces...u just have to write an exam and a interview and your career is on a roll from there onwards..........apply for it......or if you want go for further studies.......

You can go for DNB after completing your MDS.

Well, In my view there is two career option in dental and that is >doing job in medical association or > self organised dental clinic.

If you wanna to study then go for higher studies like Diploma Course In Dental Assistance, Dental Hygienist Certificate Course,Dental Mechanic Certificate Course,or if you want to work then you can opt for Dental departments in hospitals, dental clinics or join any nursing homes need the services of dentists.

My suggestion is that if you are getting a government job then can apply for it else you can pursue your mds and then start with your clinic or service depending on your interest.

bds is the starting iin a dental career in my opinion you should go for a post graduate course MDS after bds then practice in you own or apply in any gov. hospitals

u can open ur own clinic and start or practice in dental care or u can join any hospital as medical officer...every medical college requires medical officer or demonstrator...u can apply for that..or u can go for MDS

A wide range of career opportunities exist in the filed of dentistry. Dental departments in hospitals, dental clinics and nursing homes need the services of dentists. Apart from this the Forensic Departments also need good dentists who are involved in identification of deceased persons through dental remains, bite mark analysis and examination of oral facial structures for determination of injury, possible malpractice or insurance fraud. Pharmaceuticals and other companies, which produce dental and oral care products, require dentists for research and advisory works. One can also take up work as a Dental Hygienist, Dental assistant or as a Dental consultant to models and film artists.

Self-employment is also a lucrative avenue and one can become a private practitioner. For those with an adventurous kind of personality one can also join the Army Dental Corps. The Armed forces also recruit dentists directly. Recruitment to a government job is through UPSC and Staff Selection Commission for states.

Pharmaceutical companies,
Research projects,
Pharmaceutical management, clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical medicine and regulatory affairs,

If you need an inclined field go for IAS or IPS,


About forensic dentistry yes it of course is good option, but you need to be excellent in your field as such cases need your trust before they can refer others to you for the next project,

You will get formal appointments or consulting relationships with coroners, medical examiner offices, state and local agencies and branches of military. Reimbursement is on fee for service or contractual basis. Private consultation are possible with insurance companies and legal firms, testifications in criminal and civil courtrooms will be common. So before you opt for this field make sure you are ready

You need to explore yourself and find out what other things excite you. You could think of going into clinical research, hospital management, hospital administration, medical transcription, KPO's etc. First and foremost, take time to decide what you would like to do and in what environment would you like to work.

There are several specialisations after BDS, such as orthodontics which involves proper alignment of face and teeth and correction of deformities; periodontics -- a specialisation in the care of gums and diseases; operative dentistry which is about root canal jobs, fillings and cosmetic surgery; prosthodontics, involving the making of artificial teeth, particularly artificial dentures for the old and injured, and several other specialisations for which there is now greater awareness and scope for practice. Over a hundred dental colleges offer various specialisations. Unfortunately, each college has barely two-three seats per specialisation.

well there are many ways after bds u can do any course u want.u can persue mds either from india or from abroad.u can also do mba in hospital administration.there are many universities that provide various scholarships so along with ur furtherstudies u can also perform research

hello jai you dont worry about the future after bds because there are many options after bds.the first option is of post graduation(mds) and the next option is running your own clinic with latest equipments.you can also look for gov jobs or join any dental colleg as a staff that will definitely gives you more satisfaction as far as money goes.you can also chek out for defence services as they provide a handsome package for the doctors and the charm of defence is well known.so dont take tension my friend and do what you want..................ALL THE BEST.

You can the PG in the Orthodontics, pedodontics and Prosthodontics which is having the great opportunity for the candidates to get the job in india as well as the abroad which always welcome the above said disciplines round the year.

after bds uhave jon the master degree of it that is mds ok u have to jon it for that u have to fully revised ur course & do any coachig for thatok

there is no carrer after bds..in my opinion u should quit this branch as soon as possible..

wat is dda??? n is diploma in pedodontics worth doing..wat are other options after bds

after doing mds what jobs i can get if i dont want to run my own clinic...........&salaries associated wid them

nw dayz bds is nothing try to do mds or any other relevent pg course.,.,.
