Yes, you are eligible to apply for NDA Examination after completion of your 12th class.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy.NDA Examination are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year.

NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings:

• Indian Air Force
• Indian Navy
• Indian Army

The Eligibility Criteria:

** The candidate must have to pass 12th class from a recognized university.

** And the final year of 12th class students also to apply for this NDA Examination.

** The age limit in between 16.5 to 19 years.

** The candidate must be male person & unmarried and medically fit.

** The candidate must be citizen of India.

Exam Pattern:

• General Ability
• Mathematics

The important dates for NDA I Examination 2012:

Date of Notification: 31-12-2011

Last Date of Receipt of Form: 30-01-2012(Monday)

Date of Exam: 15-04-2012(Sunday).

The important dates for NDA II Examination 2012

Date of notification: 05-05-2012

Last Date of receipt of form: 04-06-2012(Monday)

Date of exam: 19-08-2012(Sunday)

No one can get direct admission to NDA on the basis of 12th PCM for which you have to appear and crack NDA exam.

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA -I and NDA -II for entry in to three wings of NDA i.e. Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass from a recognised Board in any stream within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age with sound physical fitness.

The candidate having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th standard is eligible to apply for all the three wings of NDA. To join NDA you should have successfully overcome the selection procedure of NDA.

The selection is through written test and personal Interview followed by Physical fitness test and Medical test.

you have to go through the process of written exam conducted by the UPSC. The last notification has now closed. You can see the full notification in the UPSC website.

The next notification is expected to be issued by 5th May and the exam may be held on 19th August.

Dear friend , no one can get direct admission in NDA based on your 12th marks.First you have to appear in NDA written exam, if you qualified in the exam then you will be called for SSB. In which they will take your interview , you have to appear in Group discussion , Some physical fitness test etc.

If i am get above 80% marks in 10 2 with PCM.Then the written test of NDA for me is compulsary or not ?

No one can get direct admission in NDA. there are certain process which is important after doing this process you can get admission in NDA. First thing is eligibility Criteria which is

Eligibility for NDA is
candidate should be completed 12th or appearing the final year.
candidate must be male and unmarried, female candidate are not eligible for this exam
age of the candidate is 16.5 to 19 year.

NO, you do not get direct admission to NDA or SSB.

After passing class 12th first you have to appear in the NDA written tests and clear the written tests

Only after that you would be called for the SSB


Education:

Indian Airforce and Indian Navy Wing- 12th class or Intermediate Pass.In class 12th you should have studied the subjects Physics and Maths.

Indian Army- 12th class or Intermediate Pass in any stream

Age- Minimum 16.5 years
Maximum 19 years
No age relaxations is given to any candidates who apply for the NDA exams

Next NDA exams would be held in April 2014

Only Candidates born between 2nd January 1996 to 1st July 1998 can apply for these exams

Male candidates are only allowed to apply for the NDA exams
