Whether an Ancient Indian History postgraduate can study PhD in History?


Dear Friends,
A person who have done M.A. in Ancient Indian History can do PhD in History subject? Please tell me about this as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.

You have done M.A in Ancient Indian History so, you are eligible for Ph.D in History.

Eligibility criteria for Ph.D course:-

1)Candidates should have completed post graduation degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks.

2)There is no age criteria.

Note:- UGC NET score card is essential for Ph.D admission.

Yes, definitely you can do Ph.D in History subject after completing M.A in Ancient History as you are very much eligible to opt Ph.D course. Candidates those who have completed their Masters degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% of marks are eligible to do Ph.D.
