Eligibility for CBSE Scholarship:
a. Candidates whose names are appearing in the merit list of CBSE AIPMT(Final) Examination and CBSE-AIEEE Examination shall only be considered for award of CBSE scholarship for pursuing a professional course.

b. All Girl candidates, who are otherwise eligible and are the only child in the family.

c. The scholarship shall be awarded to Indian National only.

d. A student in full time employment shall not be eligible for award of scholarship.


e. A Scholar under the scheme while availing scholarship can enjoy other concession(s) given by the institution in which he/she is studying/ other organization(s).

I,sajina N.p from kannur(kerala) has completd my 10th and 12th from Ursuline Senior Secondary School(CBSE),kannur. I hv been enjoying the SGC scholarship upto my first year(2008-09) degree course (BCA, under kannur university). Now i have completed my course. Due to the delay in the issuing of 1st year marklist by the university,i was unable to do the renewal of my schcolarship for the second year. Now i have recieved my second and third year marklists and have completed the course with above 70 % marks in both the years. I had applied for the SGC scholarship for the year 2011 with all the details asked for, But it was only later that I realized that I had filled up the application form issued for the year 2010. I wanted to know if that is a problem.

Yeah! surely you can apply for scholarship as you have scored 90%. All you have to do is collect your scholarship forms from your school where you have done your 12th and fill it. But see there are some guidelines go through them carefully as there are some parent's income issues,or you cannt have more than one scholarship and all.Otherwise you are eligible for CBSE scholarship.
CBSE gives 10,000 per year scholarship at graduation level and 20,000 per year scholarship at post graduation level.
