The students studying in VII class can apply for the Rashtriya Indian Military college for the admission in VIII class. The RIMC is one of the best institute of India and the candidates studying in such institutes will be recruited in various posts of defence after the completion of their study from RIMC.

There is a entrance test will be conducted for the admission in the RIMC. The general standard of entrance test is of class VII. The entrance test is based on two sections

A.Written :-
English (125 Marks),
Mathematics (200 Marks),
and General Knowledge (75 marks).
The candidate has to obtain at least 50 % Marks in each subject.

B.Oral (Viva Voce) :-
The oral exam is based on Viva Voce of 50 marks,
In Viva Voce candidate's intelligence, personality and confidence is checked.
