Hello sir,
I will score about 100 marks in AIEEE .Would I be able to get admission to any govt college.
Otherwise suggest me about private colleges, where i can take admission using AIEEE score card
Plzz reply.

Yeah you can try to get into government colleges....See if you are looking for good engineering colleges via aieee score i would suggest you to apply colleges in pune university....every college under pune university has 15% reserved quota for aieee candidates....u can apply to pict,sinhagad,mit,rajashri shahu,pvg in private....and coep pune,vjti mumbai in govt colleges.....if u have location constraint let me know..

First put your worries off.. you can opt for universities like UPES or NIT's which are specialized for b.tech core programs.. i too have given xm this yr n prev yr also.last yr for gen catgry cut-off was100 exactly that means 125000 rank.this yr hwvr paper was a comparibly tough.so u may expect somewhat better.but m sorry to say that the second reply which u have got is really out of range .u sud not be too optimistic.for getting into other state nit u need to score at least 220+.n marks arnd 170+will give u ur own state nit.but no hopes further, i think of some gud college. yet all the best...ther is a god n sometyms miracles do happen ...all the best...hope ur carrer bloom..

hey friend we cant tell you the names of college which you may get until the result are announced and you get your AIR rank...........so as the result are announced tell us the rank and then we will tell you the colleges names as the admission is totally based on the AIR you got..........

but according to previous year aieee result, expected rank in 100 marks will be in the range of one lac approx....thats why i m worried, i also saw the closing rank of BIT MESHRA, KIIT KALINGA, NIT SURAT.
with this rank i think i will not get admission to these college, ac.t o previous year results.

frm where to get notification and is there any requirement of domicile thing, as i m frm Jharkhand state.

if your marks is 150 then your rank will be near about 35000
and you can apply on some of the govt.colleges in different states having 15% seat reserved through AIEEE

it can not be predicted definately which colleges you will get but 100 will definately be a good score in AIEEE.

it is totally dependent on your result & rank that which college you will get
if your rank is good with 100 marks then you can get different government colleges at different state in which 15% seat is reserved through AIEEE

You need above 108 to score in general category.
Then you will get a call for counseling.
Yes, you can apply to state category selection through aicte.

hi u will got the private institutes dude but gud institutes ok if ur G.E CANDAIATES THEN IT WILL BE ok if ur sc st or obc then it will get u gud college ok

how many rank get in aieee for govt. college

dear friend,
your marks is not too good to get you through the colleges under AIEEE.
in fact you might not even get a call for the AIEEE counselling.the minimum marks should be around 120 to get the colleges .
anyway try next time.

With 100 marks i dont think you can expect an NIT. But you can apply for some other institutes which take AIEEE rank like PDPU,PEC and many other.

Or you can even wait for your state CET result and hope for something good.

my AIR is 49000 and state rank 1300 in AIEEE 2010, i am from west bengal. My WB JEE rank is 6800. May i get ME or EE at any govt college through AIEEE or WB JEE councelling? West Bengal councelling committee also conduct councelling for AIEEE rank holder, can u tell me what is the purpose for that? Thanks to all.
