Re: Colleges that have LLB 3 years course?
Most colleges that are still offering LLB course require candidate to have minimum of 45 percent marks in graduation, not 50 percent marks. Since you are not meeting this criteria I am afraid there is no way for you to seek admission in LLB course.
The criteria of percentage is set by the Bar Council of India, which is why you are not going to get any relaxation in that. Unless you belong to SC/ST there is absolutely no way to seek admission in LLB. There are however colleges that may offer you admission for distance education course in law. But these law degrees are not exactly LLB. Which means that you will not be allowed to practice in any Indian court. This rule is also set by the Bar Council of India. The only thing I can recommend you is alternative carrer option. You will have to think of some other career option. LLB is simply not an option for you. Eligibility 1. Must have bachelor degree from any recognized university. 2. At least 45 percent marks in graduation. 3. At least 40 percent marks in case of SC/ST. 4. The maximum age limit is 30 years. 5. There is 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. 6. The criteria for OBC and General candidates is same. |
