I m doing Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani, i want to do internship after my 1st year during may-july 2011. Which all companies can i contact?

I dont think there would be any company that can provide you intern ... so better do some project.

The good companies are:
Hindustan petroleum
Tata motors
TMT
Jindal indutries

You can also go for many ceramic labs across the country, and also for automobile companies.

Summer Internship

There are lots of company's in India which provide summer Internsip
for the engineering candidates.

To apply for the summer training course you have to send the
application at the company address. Only the company director
will approve you for the training.

If the company approves you for the training they will send you the
acknowledgement. To apply for the summer training course you have to send
the application with your resume and a no objection certificate provided by
your college.

there are many companies who allow internships..like L&T,NLC and other private companies...

I will advice to go for some courses and if you want to go for training then you can NTPC,BHEL etc..

Yes definately you can do it !

But, what benefit you will get. I think it is foolish decision to do MCA after M.sc IT.
After BCA, you can go for MCA, and you face a financial problem, then dont worry
there are several banks, who provide educational loan. So apply for educational loan
and go for MCA. If you do M.sc IT after BCA and then you can do MCA, then i think
it is foolish decesion and you will waste your money as well as time.

So, please go for MCA and then you will save time as well as money. After completing
MCA you will get osem job in IT sector with high salary pacakage. So, please go for
MCA, it is best path for you and dont waste time to do M.sc IT............
