I m doin 2nd yr BE in electronics at JCE, mysore.. i am interested in doing internship this summer .. where all can i apply??

to get summer internship in various private institution or government organization first you have to contact with them. if they become agree to take you as their trainee then you have to write an application in your institution to issue a training letter.

for more details about the training letter contact with your institution. with this letter you have to apply for the organization with their specified format. some time training letter is sufficient to apply for some organization. if there is nay fees for the training then you have to pay after selection of your application form. after selecting you they will inform you. then you will go there in the specified date for training.

for summer internship you can apply to DRDO, SAIL, NTPC,BSNL. these company offering internship for electronics student.

It is very easy to get internship program by some private companies for the electronics and communication engineering student.
First you make the training letter by the college and apply to various companies.
Some companies related to ECE:
NECAS AUTOMATION Pvt. Ltd. There are various courses provided by NECAS AUTOMATION for students of ECE, EL, IC, EEE etc. for fresher as well as students pursuing Degree/Diploma/ITI.

2nd year students are not eligible for summer internship training.

Only 3rd & 4th year students are eligible for summer internship training.

And for the summer internship training you may contact to the training & placement officier of your college and through your college you may contact to personal department of any organisation.

Hence, this organisation helps you for summer internship training.

You are a student of B.Tech (Electronics), you go for training in following organistion i.e.

1. BSNL

2. MTNL

3. Reliance Telecommunication Ltd.

4. SAIL etc.

You have to personally ask companies if they are ready for providing internship.Then you have to take approval from your college.Look for companies in areas which are near to your college.

Look get one thing straight, you trying to get training too early, as most companies do not allow student trainees in their second year.It is only after the completion of third year that the students are allowed.

However as you seem to be eager, then i will definitely help you out.

First of all you need to prepare a CV of yourself and a request letter. Send both of them to the HR manager of the company of your choice.

If you get an acknowledgement letter from them, get it signed from the head of your college, get a college seal on it. Also obtain and NOC from the T&P Cell in your college and send these to the company.

I suggest that you try for training in private sector companies.
They might charge you a nominal fees, but all in all it would be better.
