Computer courses are in plenty and IT which is also known as Information Technology has spread its roots vastly across the globe. It has provisions of serving every industry and automating what not. Thus, the world is moving towards more efficient and a better tomorrow.
In view of the above, many companies have come up in recent days regarding IT Operations, Functioning and more. It is evident that over the last couple of decades, the world has seen a major revolution about this genre of knowledge. Thing have turned from good to best and nothing has stopped yet. Its an ever growing field of work and would only progress towards better. But, when a person is a graduate and post graduate PGDM already, there is no sense in taking up a computer course regarding anything at all. This is because PGDM is already a full time post graduation program that deals with much higher quality work and profile. Most of the MBAs and PGDMs are well placed in top companies with huge pay packages. When you have already done this course, you should try to move in a direction that is complementing your education and puts you in line with whatever specialization you have done in your post graduation. Computer courses are good for people who have just passed out of their graduation course and have no such expertise to start their careers. Moreover, you can try to learn a few computer basic softwares such as Microsoft Office and majorly Excel, Power point, Word and Outlook in them. Also please know about the basic functionalities of whatever has been taught to you in your MBA/PGDM practicals about Project Management, Quality Management and more. If you enroll yourself for these course, it would not be of any longer duration than a few months. Also note that the more you have hands on these tools and practice, the better you would get with time. Focus on how you can drive businesses with these and increase your productivity. If you have further interest in computers, then learning programming languages can help you. I would recommend starting with C and C++ as the basic ones and then moving to Java / .NET. Some of the top programming languages are: 1. C/C++ 2. Java 3. Dot Net 4. SQL 5. Python 6. SAP as a technology 7. C# and more... Many people find programming/coding very interesting and if you too find the same, please connect with nearby coaching/training centers near your locality to find out more. These courses do not cost much again but last for a few months only. You have to maintain your own practice to ensure that you do not lose touch. |
