Soon aftet the completion of B.Com, I will suggest you to go for MBA. MBA candidates are in good demand these days. These people have plenty of opportunities in variety of sectors.

Even in MBA also, go for Finance specialization and if dual specialization is available in that college then choose Finance as Major and Marketing as Minor specialization.

For finance people to get good job and good salary,the candidate should be strong enough in subject knowledge and sound conceptual and fundamental knowledge.

Without this, it is difficult for the candidates to get good job. Several companies like
-Capital IQ
-Delloit
-Zenpact and many more are offering excellent salaries to MBA freshers with Finance background.

You may also go for M.Com which is having limited scope to get jobs. ICWA course is also another good choice.

If you want to go for lecturshi the you should go for a m.com and then pursue a phd program
If you want to enter in clerikal or PO jobs in banks then you can apply with your b.com also
or go for m.com
you can go for ICWA
you can go for a CA xourse

After completion of B.com you can choose M.com as your course if your fully interested in commerce.

Or you can choose MBA for doing higher studies so that you can fly off in your career in management side.

Or you can do MCA also if you are interested in IT sector. But you must have had mathematics as one of the subjects in your 11th and 12th std.

Or you can do CA or ICWA if your interest is in Accountancy.

Thus the above are the options and there are more options like this you must choose your career according to your own interest.

after completion of b.com there are basically many options
first is to go for m.com.that way you may expand your horizons as well later apply for teaching posts.
second option is to do mba.though i will strongly suggest you that mba without prior job expirience is not much useful.
third option is to sit for ca/cs or icwa exams since withincreasing commerce and finance markets these degrees have lots of prospects
fourth is to go for a job with a bank or financial institution right after b.com

The two best options in front of you are:

1. MBA
2. M.Com

So my suggestion is MBA.

Because in comparison with M.Com, MBA offers more job opportunities, career prospects, stability, high packages etc....

Since you are a B.Com student, so I think MBA in Finance or MBA in Accounting is the right choice for you...Both the stream are good, so choose that one in which you are more comfortable with....

But remember, try to get admission in top B-schools for MBA.

Try to crack CAT to get admission in IIMs.

If you fail to crack that, then atleast try for class B schools in India, like FMS, XLRI etc by giving the respective exams for them.
And if you do not do MBA from the top B-schools of India then your degree will be of no value, thousands of students are doing jobs in small farms even after doing MBA.
So if you do MBA then do it from institutes like IIMs, FMS, XLRI.

You are having more career options in a +2 in a mathematics. I think you are interested in a mathematics so you can do without doubt in a B.Sc (mathematics), B.C.A, its more computer applications is there . Just like that you have to study in a mathematics stream its very essential for your life . All the best.

I’m a techie with 5 yrs. of experience. As expected, I’ve gotten bored of this job. I was interested in a job which allows me work on small projects(ranging from 1 year to 4 years’ duration) across the globe and also which would allow me to interact with people of different cultures and travel the world (and yes, it needs to be well-paying also).

This is because my STRENGTH is in my ability to communicate and interact with different people well. I’m also good at analysis,assessment and planning. I'm a cheerful,outgoing personality who loves challenges. This is also what I aspire to do in my future life.

My confusion is which stream of M.B.A. do I need to specialize in, to achieve the skill-sets required for the above mentioned work profile? Also, which are the best Universities in the USA or Europe which will provide me with this specialization?

Of course, I HATE compromising on quality, so it will be either the IIMs,XLRI,ISB,etc or an A++ University in the U.S. or Europe for me- I have the courage to fight for what I want.
