Nice to see that you are aiming for further higher studies, otherwise there is a common misconception among students that BMS can pay them high salary and all. But according to latest Market analysis and Job situation things are reverse for a BMS or BBA graduates. Sectors like- Retails, Finance, Insurance, Brokerage firm, Risk Management companies, Banks etc. have number of opportunities for BMS graduates but the thing is that good pay and allowance is absent, because of easy availability of BMS and BBA graduates. Today India have 5 BMS/BBA graduates for a single job vacancy, you can think what would be Job Market situation this time.
However, still students have charm because good recruiters always switch for campusing, and the actual salary are paid by that recruiters. Today a freshers can expect nothing more then 8,000 - 16,000 per month if he doesn't recruited through Campusing. Yeah greater prospect and good opportunities are there for experienced or PG graduates. Generally BMS graduated dare to opt for MMS as a result greater number of student opt for MBA. But what a MMS degree can provide is not expect able from a MBA degree. I am not saying that MBA is not productive or good enough but there's a difference in opinion among exerts. However, leave that issues, if you have decided for further studies just opt go for it. MMS MBA LLB (Corporate Law) generally non BMS graduate think of it, but it is fruitful too. PGDM with any specialization or even general one can be good enough. |
