Hello,

I want to know the scope and salary package in the field of agriculture engineering in India. I've heard that there are very less opportunity and salary package is very in India as compared to other branches of engineering.Is this true.Plz reply?

There are a lot of scope in the field of Agriculture engineering in India also. Also the salary package is very high like the other Branches of engineering, as we know today the spaces for agriculture in India is becoming lesser and lesser,thus we need a lot of engineering in this field today for good result in the field of agriculture.And for most it is such a branch without which we cannot survive. Thus Engineer's are always secure in the branch. This will be the most important branch of engineering in near future in India.

Dear friend why you are talking this type of of word,because you are a indian and you know India is a agricultural famous country and you can do very well do job in this area ............

in this area so much scope for engineer if you will do better work for agriculture

That's why your future is bright in this area because all country dependent on Agriculture if agriculture is not here then what he will eat.........

that's why don't take tension so much and do work very well in this field...............

you got approx rs 3.5 to rs.7lacs.........per annum...........

may one get about 1 lakh per month in agricultural eng?

OFCOURSE,you can get jobs in irrigation dept.

sir i did b.tech. in agriculture engineering......which kind of jobs in government field, and in irrigation department for us.........plese give description of above post..........and where to apply..... (all says that it is a very broad field it has various scopes please give me detail if you know anything about it... but if you do notknow please........do not comment on my post.......)......in other post you will replied about various scoppe in ag.engg. please classify and describe it...

i want information about that how can be a agricultural engineer become best in comparison to others

there is very less scope in agricultural engineering in india. because no one recognize ag engineers except few tractor companies and irrigation companies where they offer the sales jobs with less salary like 8 to 10 k / month . please guys dont select this branch as for your career . please go for mechanical/ elct/civil there are good scope in these field.

agri. engineering has got no scope at all.Basically it does not focus on a particular skill.It is a messy engineering. you r taught a bit from all types of engineering and at last the person has got no special ability when he come out with his degree.what ever agri. engg. knows about cvl cse comp engg the same has been master by a person belonging to the respective field.i too am doing b.tech in agri. engg and so far i have found no takers for us.....

the criticism s more than the opportunity in this field.... all asking about the salary package...but the salary package reflects ly when you put effort... go through daily newspapers learn about todays thrust area in agriculture without effort nothing can be done...

i've got admission in college of technology , pantnagar university in agricultural engineering ......

so the main thing is this field appropriate 4 me......??
the above two people are threatening me like hell....so r they right.......???

in this field , a person can get opportunities in what sort of field.....??
