I have applied for PhD in Human Resource Management from IGNOU. So, will be appearing for the entrance exam soon. Would like to know the entrance exam question pattern and any guidance on how to prepare for it?

- Understanding and managing group behaviour

- Organizational Development

- Concept and perspective of HRM, HRM in changing environment

- Human Resource Planning- Objective, Process and Techniques

- Job Analysis-Job Description

- Selecting Human Resource

- Introduction, Training and Development

- Exit policy and Implication

- Performance, Appraisal, Evaluation

- Potential Assessment

- Job Evaluation

- Wage Determination

- Industrial Relation and Trade Union

- Dispute Relation and Grievance Mangement

- Labour Welfare and Social security Measures

The format of the question paper will be as follows :

Objective Type - 50 marks (Multiple choice) 50 minutes

Short Answer Type - 50 marks (10 questions of 5 marks each) 70 minutes

Long Answer (Essay type) - 50 marks ( 2 questions of 25 marks each) 60 minutes

Total marks : 150

Time duration for exam : 180 minutes
