My son wishes to apply for technical entry scheme in army as he has appeared in class xii exam in march 2012, please convey me the dates when can he apply for the next course(TES). Do convey as soon as possible.

TES Stands for Technical Entry Scheme Examination and this examination is conducted by Indian Army twice in a year for admission to join in Indian Army . Mostly this notification will be publish in the month of May/ June and Oct / Nov in the official website as well as employment news paper .

So, this year notification will be expect last week of May or June in the official website as well as employment news paper .

To apply for this examination , the candidate need to completed 12th examination with Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized School or equivalent qualification . The candidate must secure at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics in their examination . Those who are appearing in the final year of 12th exam may also eligible to apply.

The candidate must have attained the age of 16.5 years and 19.5 years and Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination . Female candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination .

After the notification , the candidate should have a fill only in Online application and there is no offline application .

Selection Procedure :- Written exam , Medical exam ,Physical Test .

i am giving you a complete detail of 10+2 technical entry scheme, please see the detail below

10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES) Course

Applications are invited from unmarried male who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects and fulfill the eligibility conditions for the grant of Permanent Commission in the Indian Army.

Posts : 85 posts

Qualification : 10+2 (PCM) with 70% marks.

Age : 16 and half to 19 and half years i.e. born between 01 July 1992 and and 01 July 1995 (both days inclusive)

Physical Standard: min. height 152 cm and weight 42 kg., better eye 6/6 and worst eye 6/18

Type of Commission : On susccessful completion of 4 years of the course cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lt. in Arms/Services as per discretion of Army Hq.

Pay Scale : Candidates will be entitled to pay sclae of Rs.15600-39100 plus Grade Pay Rs.5400 plus MSP Rs.6000 and other allowances.

Method of Selection: Only selected (shortlisted) candidates will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview at Allahabad, Bhopal and Bangalore for fivesselection process. In which candidates will be put through Psychological test, Group Test and Interview.

sir, i got 75% in 12th. But i have 63% in chemisty, 75% in maths and 85% in physics. So, sir is am i eligble for (TES).
