i want to apply for ibps po but the last date to apply online has been closed before two days .. what can i do now is there any extension of date to apply or is there any other mode.

IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has announced notification for the recruitment of PO positions to 19 public sector banks for the second time.

The last date to apply for this exam was over by 30-03-2012.

After this, no extension for the last date to apply has been announced by IBPS.

Hope, IBPS may give announcemen regarding extension in few days as many of the candidates who wanted to apply in online on the last date were unable to apply because of server problem in the official website of IBPS.

Many of the candidates were disappointed with this.

If you have applied for the exam in offline mode or through CBS Challan option, and if you got the registration id and password, then you can make the payment of fees till 7th of this month.

We have to wait and see for the announcement regarding extension of last date to apply by IBPS.

If any announcement is made regarding this, it will be updated in the official website of IBPS.

So, keep visiting the official website of IBPS. Here it is,

So, don't bother regarding this and have good preparation for the exam.

If it is not possible to apply for the exam this time, you can crack next time. Your preparation will never go wasted.

Hmm, last date have already gone that was 30-03-2012.

There is till no probability of extension of date. Still you can try for other bank po exams which are conducted independently by own banks.

ibps exam 2012:last date to pay fees is 30th march...there is no other extended date to pay online..
you can pay in offline mode through any one of the following 6 branches before 7th april...
Bank of Baroda ,
Bank of India,
Central Bank of India,
Indian Overseas Bank,
Punjab National Bank,
United Bank of India
note: please remember that in offline mode, after registration of challan in any 6 branches u have to pay the fee after one day considering the next day is not working day..so u must register before 6th april to complete successfull payment..

this exam consists of five section , each section having 50 questions ,each carrying one marks , negative marks also available each wrong answer 1/4 marks
