Important NDA Examination Dates (2012) :

>> Notification Released Date : 31/Dec/2011.
>> Last date of apply : 30/Jan/2012
>> Examination date : 15/April/2012.

Important CDS (I) Examination Dates (2012) :

The Notification of CDS Examination was already Updated in the Official UPSC Website.

>> Notification Released Date : 29/Oct/2011.
>> Last date of apply : 28/Nov/2011
>> Examination date : 12/Feb/2012.

Age Eligiblity :

For NDA Examination : 16.5 To 19 Years.

For CDS Examination : 19 to 25 Years.

Educational Qualification for NDA and CDS Examination :

For NDA Examination, you have to complete your 12Th examination form a recognised board and If you have study Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects in your 12Th examination, then you are eligible to apply for all the wings of NDA : Army, Naval and Air Force Wings.

But If you have completed your 12Th in Any discipline then you are only eligible for Army Wings.

>> For CDS Examination you have to complete your Graduate degree course and Final year graduate candidates are also apply for CDS Examination.

For IMA/OTA : Any graduate passed candidates in any discipline may apply.

For Naval/Air Force Academy : You have to complete your Graduation with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects.

NDA exam information
National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army etc.

Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam:
Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.
Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.
Citizenship: Indian

NDA-I exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012.
Exam will held on 15th April 2012.
NDA-II exam notification for this year:
Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012.
Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012.

CDS exam information
CDS stands for Combined Defense Service exam,this exam is held twice in year and exam is conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility for CDS examination:
Educational Qualifications:
For IMA /OTA : A degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
For Naval Academy: B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering.
For Air Force Academy: B.Sc. of a recognized University or equivalent with Physics and/or Mathematics as subjects or Bachelor of Engineering.
Age:
For IMA: Unmarried male candidates between 19-24 years
For Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates between 19-22 years
For Air Force Academy: Unmarried male candidates between 19-23 years For Officers Training Academy: Male candidates (married or unmarried) between 19-25 years

Important date for CDS-2012 exam:
CDS-I exam:
Issuing of application form from 29th Oct 2011 to 28th Nov 2011.
Exam will held on 12th Feb 2012. CDS-II exam:
Issuing of application form from 2nd June 2012 to 2nd July 2012.
Exam will held on 16th Sep 2012.

For CDS Examination you have to be a graduate, or you should be a student of final year graduation.

AGE

For NDA Examination your age should be between 16.5 to 19 Years, and for CDS examination you should be between 19 to 25 Years.
