The Union Public Service Commission will hold the examination on 15th April, 2012 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 129th Course, and for the 91st Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from December 2012 Conditions of eligibility Nationality: A candidate must either be (i) a citizen of India, or (ii) a subject of Bhutan, or (iii) a subject of Nepal, or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt of India. Certificate of eligibility will not, however, be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal Age limits, sex and marital status: Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1996 are eligible. The date of birth accepted by the commission is that entered in the matriculation or secondary school leaving certificate or in a certificate recognised by an Indian University as equivalent to matriculation or in an extract from a register of matriculates maintained by a university which must be certified by the proper authority of the university or in the Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination certificates. These certificates are required to be submitted only after the declaration of the result of the written part of the examination. No other document relating to age like horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporation, service records and the like will be accepted. The expression Matriculation/Higher Secondary Examination Certificate in this part of the instruction includes the alternative certificates mentioned above Candidates appearing in the 11th class exam are not eligible for this examination Those candidates who have yet to qualify in the 12th class or equivalent examination and are allowed to appear in the UPSC examination should note that this is only a special concession given to them. They are required to submit proof of passing the 12th class or equivalent examination by the prescribed date (i.e. 5th December, 2012) and no request for extending this date will be entertained on the grounds of late conduct of Board/University Examination, delay in declaration of results or any other ground whatsoever Candidates who are debarred by the Ministry of Defence from holding any type of commission in the Defence Services shall not be eligible for admission to the examination and if admitted, their candidature will be cancelled Those candidates who have failed INSB/PABT earlier are not eligible for Air Force Fee: Candidates (excepting SC/ST candidates/sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs 50/- (Rs Fifty only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur/Sate Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala /State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card For the applicants in whose case payments details have not been received from the bank they will be treated as fictitious payment cases and a list of all such applicants shall be made available on the commission website within two weeks after the last day of submission of online application. These applicants shall also be intimated through e-mail to submit copy of proof of their payment to the commission at the address mentioned in the e-mail. The applicant shall be required to submit the proof within 10 days from the date of such communication either by hand or by speed post to the commission. In case, no response is received from the applicants their applications shall be summarily rejected and no further correspondence shall be entertained in this regard How to apply: Candidates are required to apply online by using the website http:// www.upsconline.nic.in . Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the abovementioned website The applicants are advised to submit only single application; however, if due to any unavoidable situation, if he submits another/multiple applications, then he must ensure that application with the higher RID is complete in all respects like applicants’ details, examination centre, photograph, signature, fee etc. The applicants who are submitting multiple applications should note that only the applications with higher RID (Registration ID) shall be entertained by the commission and fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID The result of the written part of the examination is likely to be declared in the month of July, 2012 All candidates called for interview must carry their original matriculation certificate or equivalent examination certificate to the service selection board (SSB). Originals will have to be produced by the candidates who qualify at the SSB interview soon after the interview. The originals will be returned after verification. Those candidates who have already passed 10+2 examination must carry their original 10+2 pass certificate or marks sheet for the SSB interview. If any of their claims is found to be incorrect they may render themselves liable to disciplinary action by the commission in terms of the following provisions Last date for receipt of applications: The online applications can be filled upto 30th January, 2012 till 11.59 p.m. after which the link will be disabled. |

It seems your question is incomplete. Any way as you asking regarding admission to Navy which means Indian Navy.
For commissioned officer in Indian Navy you can join this basically through two ways:- NDA and CDS NDA-NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Navy, Army and Air Force wing of NDA. The candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age with good physical fitness can apply for Indian Navy of NDA. CDS-COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Naval Academy, Military Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy of CDS. The candidate must be an unmarried Indian National having appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years can apply for Indian Naval Academy of CDS. there are two fields in navy, one is INDIAN NAVY and another is MERCHANT NAVY. so first of all you have to decide in which field you want to go. For getting admission in any of those field a candidate must passed 12th class with having subject....physics, chemistery and mathematics(PCM). (1)For admission in indian navy:- >> The candidate must have to pass 12th class or in the final year of 12th class to apply for the NDA exam. (no restriction on percentage) >> this exam is held by UPSC twice in a year. >> The age limit for NDA is in between 16.5 to 19 years. >> There are two test in NDA exam..1.mathematics....2. general ability test . >> The candiate must be male person & unmarried and medically fit. >> The candidate must be citizen of India. >> A graduate student ( from any rocognized university) can also join indian navy by passing CDS exam. >> There are three test in CDS exam..1.English...2.
