Detailed Information regarding Bank Clerk Exams

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection i.e IBPS conducts the recruitment exam known as common written exam(CWE) for Bank Clerk post for 19 public sector banks as mentioned below except SBI which conducts its own exam separately.





Basic Eligibility criteria for IBPS Bank Clerk Exam:
-You should have completed 12th standard in any steam with Mathematics subject from recognized school.

-You should have achieve minimum of 50% marks(60% for SBI Bank).

-Your Age should be between 18 to 28 years for General(18 to 31 for OBC & 18 to 33 years for SC/ST/PD candidates).

-You must be an Indian citizen.


Selection criteria:

There are two stages for selection to Bank clerk post-

1. Written Test(cwe)

2. Personal Interview



Application Procedure:

~You can apply for IBPS Clerk Post exam by using IBPS official official website: http://ibps.gov.in

Application Fee: Rs. 350/-(Rs. 50 for ST/SC candidates)

~You can submit application fee by using Bank challan Form available at Online application page.

SBI Clerk Exam Syllabus 2012
SBI Selection Procedure : The Selection Procedure for SBI clerk exam 2012 , shall consists of a Written Test and Interview taken together.The Written test will be objective in nature and consists of the following objective tests:

*. General English
*. Quantitative Aptitude
*. Reasoning Ability
*. Marketing Aptitude / Computer Knowledge
There will be penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.Candidates will have to pass in each of the Objective tests separately.The passing marks will be decided by the bank on the basis of the performance of all the competing candidates taken together in each of the objective tests separately.

Interviews : Depending upon the Number of vacancies for the Clerical posts in SBI, thebank reserves the right to call only those candidates for Interview who score preferably higher in the order of merit and will be called in the ratio of ( 1: 3 ) to the number of vacancies.
Final Selection : The Final Selection will be made on the basis of the scores of candidates obtained in the Written exam and Interview taken together.

Firstly, would like to know you that for every Bank Clerk Exam the pattern is same which involves :

GK section is not compulsorily asked for all banks.

Most of the public and private sector banks follow this pattern.You can get opportunity in both sector if you full fill their criteria which is

from a government-

system are eligible for
appearing IBPS clerical cadre

secondary exam or a degree.
Although this is the basic
retirement for appearing

He,after 12th you can face bank clerk exam between 18 to 28 age.IBPS exam are the entrance exam of that which is conducted by 19 different banks ,through which you can get opportunities to face interview directly .

IBPS conducted this bank clerical exams every year..

To appear in bank clerical exams you have to fulfill some eligibility criteria first..

Eligibility criteria for bank clerical exams:--------------------->>

1.Candidate must have complete the 12th class in any trade from a recognized central/state education board..
2.A candidate, who is appearing for 12th class board exam can also apply for this exam..
3.Candidate has to secure 60% aggregate through out the career.
4.Candidates age should be in between 18-28 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years..
5.Candidate should be a citizen of India.
6.Candidate must be computer literate..

To get a bank clerical service you have to appear in the exam first.
After clearing the exam you have to go through the interview session..
The interview consists of two session...

I did commerce with out math...m i elligible for clerical or po bank jobs and also i m doing my graduation from ignou is this qualification is ok for giving clerical or po exam
