On requirement banks publish the notification for clerk posts.Probably in the Month of November/December clerical exams will be held by State Bank of India,but for that application brouchers have been submitted and registrations are closed.. *Moreover according to the current surveys Indian Banks needs more than 77,000 clerks in the next few years.So have keen observation on the 'Job-Alerts'via regular attachment with emloyement news and daily news. From now onwards Joint clerical exams will be held by the banks..It will be beneficial so that candidate will not, have to appear in individual bank exams.Frequently asked questions from Aspects are- *Mental Awareness. *Basic Maths.(Upto 10th level) *Quantitative Analysis. *General Knowledge. Bank clerical jobs have become very lucarative now a days.one need be graduate for this.one can apply for govt as well pvt banks.Banks also give quick promotion and one can be promoted to PO in 4 to 5 years.
Banks clerk exam mainly focus on MATHS 10 TH BASED,with emphasis on numerical ability. GENERAL REASONING ENGLISH COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE GENERAL KNOWLEDGE AND BANKING AWARENESS. Scoring 60 % overall will be enough.But u must pass the cut off of each section which is generally 35 to 40 % per section. |

Now a days most of the students interested to do bank job because this job is secure and less work but money is there also. Bank clerical exam is do by every bank in every year,different bank have different criteria for that. But now this year IBPS exam is held for 19 banks for PO and clerical exam. But SBI and RBI conduct their own exam. Criteria for this exam:- *Candidate pass 12th in any stream *Minimum mark 50% Age-19 to above Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidate Application fee- 500/- for General candidate 50/- for SC/ST candidate Mark distribution:- Books for clerical exam:- Good Luck................ |

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will organise the common written exam (CWE) for recruitment of personnel for Bank Clerks (Clerical Cadre) Posts for 19 public sector banks on 27th Nov 2011. Except SBI, most big PSBs are going to recruit bank clerks only on the performance of CWE for banks clerks and hence this exam is very important for the aspirants who want to seek clerical job in any of these 19 banks.
Minimum qualification for bank clerical exam is 12th pass with 60% marks. The Common Written Exam (CWE) for Clerical Cadre will be 250 marks written exam of 2 & 1/2 hrs. The syllabus and pattern for Bank Clerks CWE is as follows - 1. TEST OF REASONING - 50 QUESTIONS - 50 MARKS 2. TEST OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE - 50 NOS - 50 MARKS 3.TEST OF NUMERICAL ABILITY - 50NOS - 50MARKS 4. TEST OF GENERAL AWARENESS - 50NOS - 50MARKS 5. Graduation from any recognised recognised university. Age should be 21 to 30years and the relaxation for the reserved candidates. Candidate should be an indian. Hi........... Sir......... .Through the IBPS exam you can apply for the Probationary Officer (PO) & CLERKS posts of the various banks. This examination commonly known as CWE (COMBINED WRITTEN EXAMINATION) is conducted by the IBPS (INSTITUTE OF BANKING & PERSONNEL SELECTIONS). There are 19 banks , which recruits their respective PO & CLERKS posts through IBPS exam. List of participating BANKS-- Educational requirements for the CLERKS -- 12th degree from a recognized board with at least 60%. You must have working knowledge of computer science like MS WORD, MS EXCEL, MS OFFICE, TALLY You must have Indian nationality.. Age limit- 18-28 years,. For government bank jobs, you will have to first pass IBPS common writtenexam. IBPS conducts Bank Clerk exam two times in a year for 19 public banks. Eligibility for bank clerk jobs- Graduation from a recognise university. Age - 18- 28 years for general There is a 3years age relaxation for OBC and 5 Years relaxation for SC/ ST category. Exam Pattern - There are five papers in the exam - 1. Reasoning 2. Quantitative Aptitude 3. General Awareness 4. Computer awareness 5. English.
