hello SIR/MAM,
please could you tell me the detailed procedure to apply for SCRA exams????
i am a student from 11th standard and wants to apply for SCRA/upsc (combined medical services) .
your help and guidence would be of great help!!!!!!!

The SCRA examination is conducted by UPSC.

You can apply for SCRA examination during class 12th or after passing 12th board exam
with Mathematics as one of the subjects in 12th.
You can also apply for the exam after Graduation in Mathemactics.
You should have passed the qualifying exam with first or second division.
The age limitation for the exam is 17 to 21 years.

The Combined Medical Service examination also is conducted by UPSC.

The minimum qualification required for the exam is MBBS.
The upper age limit for the exam is 32 years.
A relaxation of 3 years is given to OBC (NC layer) category candidates and
relaxation of 5 years is given to SC/ST/PH category candidates.

All the notification related to these exams are published in Employment News and
in national dailies.
Also it is made available on the UPSC official website.

UPSC conducted the SCRA exam.Minimum qualification required for this exam is 12th standard and maths is a main subject in 12th standard course.Graduation students also applicable for this exam who have the maths as main subject in graduation level.The age limit for this exam is 17 to 21 years.

* SCRA Stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice.

* SCRA Examination is conducted every year by The Union Public Service Commission.

The Basic Requirements For SCRA Examination are mentioned below :

* Educational Qualifications : Must Have Passed 12th with a minimum of 55% marks from any recognized board.

* Must have PCM in Higher Secondary (12th Standard).

* Age : 17-21 Years.

* Nationality : Indian

After passing the exam , you have to go for 4 years Mechanical Engineering in BIT-Mesra completing which you will be recruited as class-I officer in Indian Railways.

* Also during the 4 years , you will get Rs. 9,000 / month as stipend by the Central Government.
