Details for getting admission for marine engineering? Which are the other good options for making a good career?
i m doing my final yr. b.tech in mechanical.I wanna do my masters in marine engg. please tell me the details to get admission for marine engg.? And is this a good option for me?if no, then tell me other options for my good career

though marine engineering is a specialised subject there are certain instt. like instt. of tech. and marine engg-kolkata that have undergraduation and pg courses in marine engg. also iit-madras has a specialised programme in marine engg. as you are from a mech. background i think there are plenty of jobs avialable both in psu's and in pvt. sector.

Marine Engineering is a vast field, and very rewarding too! PCMB is more than sufficient for eligibility.
You can refer to www.indiaedu.com/career-courses/marine-engineering/ for all information. It is a good website. Information about employment can be found on various websites, one is www.cssmmarine.com Ask your son to focus well on Maths if he seriously wants marine engineering. Calculative ability is essential in this field. All the best.
