B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology and B.E stands for Bachelor of Engineering.
These two courses are offered by so many engineering institutes of India as undergraduate courses in Engineering. This is a general question which is asked by most of the students and so many people remain in confusion what is the exact difference between B.E and B.Tech. The main difference is that B.Tech course is somewhat more practically intensive whereas Bachelor of engineering is more theoretical. Simple difference lies between engineering and technology, engineering is the science dealing with more theoretical concepts and principles. Technology deals with the theories and concepts of engineering for practical application and purposes. Both the courses are equally valued by employing organizations. |

No absolute difference. The IITs award a B.Tech, so it has a higher brand value in the public mind. But nowadays, there are so many colleges (both state and private) that it is difficult to be sure that there aren't others too who have started calling their UG degree as B.Tech.
