both the B.E and B.tech are almost similar.

only the difference is that there is some difference in the syllabus of be and b.tech.

some of the colleges have changed their course name to b.tech and some have kept it to be BE.

their is no difference when you go for seeking job.

well its not the case rohit, actually both are the same ,
the difference is that cse,it fields etc are more technological side and hence the graduates in these fields are called b.tech were as the fields like civil and mechanical deals more with the engineering part so graduates in these fields are call b.e

B.Tech and B.E they both are technical one but
their is main difference is the degree.
in B.Tech we get a technical degree but in B.E we get a Engineering Degree.
which affects our placement.

There is no such difference in it.

B.Tech. stands for Bachelor of Technology.
BE. Stands for Bachelor Of Engineering

The scope of both the programmes are the same. BTech was the designation of some three- and four-year programmes at some British universities in the 1960s and 1970s, but it is no longer used.

Indian universities offer B.Tech programmes, but as such there is no difference between the scope of study in the BE or B.Tech programme.

In some countries like Pakistan engineering councils of country not accept BTECH engineers as Engineer.

Hope the information is helpful.

though both degrees are same it only that BE degree examines in detail the science behind application, technology is most apt technique for current times........but, basically both degree has same scope and meaning...
iit started the trend of awarding Btech degrees and later on it was copied by many colleges especially private ones......you can still find some olf governenment colleges awarding 4 year diploma(ISM dhanbad), Bsc engineering, etc , they may sound different but they are equivalent to BE/BTECH

BE is knowledge based
BTEch is skill based.
skills without knowledge is useless and knowledge without skills is useless.
Technology keeps on changing.Engineers create new technologies.
It depends on the university.
No one cares of it in recent days.

There is not much difference at all. B.E. basically stresses on conceptual clarification. But B.Tech stresses on practical exposure of concepts. Both have equivalent degrees and syllabus of both are also almost equal.

BTech stands for Bachelor of Technology which is awarded by the regional colleges and above (also nowadays many deemed universities as well),

BE is Bachelor of Engineering which is awarded by Open Universities(like pune university)/

Other than this there is no such difference between the two.

well if you are talking about the difference there is no such thing like that BE is knowledge oriented BTech practical oriented.B Tech includes the skill of an engineer whereas BE requires more of theoretical knowledge. But both have equal importance when it comes to placements. The B.E. Is the degree given by engeneering college and university after passing the Engineering and B.Tec. is the degree of engineering after passing 12th..

Hey there's not much difference between B.tech and BE.

In the earlier days Universities providing Engineering courses along with other degree courses named the course as B.E and colleges providing only Engineering courses are termed as B.tech.

That's the only difference i.e different universities name the course by different names but both the courses have equivalent value.

all the best

B.E graduates are called engineers, B.Tech graduates engineering Technologists. Difference between engineering and engineering technology is as shown below;
Engineering includes RESEARCH, COMPLEX ANALYSIS,COMPLEX DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT,MANUFACTURING, AND TEST AND EVALUATION. It is more theoretical.Where as Engineering Technology includes Test and EVALUATION, ROUTINE DESIGNS,PRODUCTION,CONSTRUCTION,OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE, SALES AND DISTRIBUTION. IT IS MORE TANGIBLE.(Farooq Ahmad, B.Tech. Honours, Pakistan)
