Difference Between BBA and BCA BBA stands for (Bachelor of Business Administration) which is meant for the commerce background students who want to go for graduation in Business Administration..you can understand this as a preliminary step before the MBA which is the masters degree.. BCA stands for (Bachelor of Computer Application) which is meant for the students of science stream who have Computer Science in 12th.. Even if you don't have Computer Science in 12th..then also you can opt for BCA.. NOTE :- In order to get a respectable job with a decent salary..you need to do much more than bachelor's degree in both the streams.. all the best.. With Warm Regards "Nitz" |

Re: Difference between BBA and BCA? Can a Science candidate opt for these courses after completion of 12th class?
Hello,
In the vision of corporate world, there is much difference between BBA and BCA. If we talk about BCA- *BCA stands for Bachelor in Computer Application. *A high school qualified candidate can opt for BCA,whether the stream was Commerce or Science, in high school. *In BCA you will have to deal with,Computer applications like- -System development. -Networking. -Internet working. -Application software. -System management. But if you had not Maths,as a subject in high school exam, then you will not be eligible for MCA. And if we talk about BBA- *BBA stands for Bachelor in Business Administration. *You may opt BBA,whether you have any stream in high school. *In BBA you will study about,Data interpretation,Accountancy,Management skill etc. *The Master Degree of BBA is,'MBA' which is much popular due to its, high appeal & demand in corporate sector. Yeah,An Science student can opt any of the subjects for the bachelor degree. Ok, Best of luck. |

Actually Higher secondary education we have the following branches:
1. Group I (Maths,phy,che,biology/CS) 2. Group II (Pure Science) 3. Group III (commerce) Those who are taking group III they may choose BCom course otherwise they can choose BCA course. BBA ===> Bachelor of Business Administration BCA ===> Bachelor of Computer Application. If you are choosing BCA u have lot of placement opportunities like that 1. IT industry 2. Government Post 3. SSC post 4. Bank clerical exams 5. Defense job suppose you have financial support you upgrade your education to MCA or M.Sc CS This course offers lot of job opportunities with good package. Suppose You choose B.Com you can go the commercial field, like that Bank, Accounts, marketing etc. |

B.B.A generally stands for Bachelor of Business Administration while B.C.A stands for Bachelor of Computer Applications. So the two fields are entirely different.Yes even if you are a science student in 12th standard you can apply for either of the subjects. If you are thinking of doing M.B.A then go for B.B.A or if you are good in computers the opt for B.C.A

Re: Difference between BBA and BCA? Can a Science candidate opt for these courses after completion of 12th class?
hi,
BBA Stands for the Bachelor of Business Administration. And BCA stands for the Bachelor of Computer Application. Students having Commerce in your 12TH can go for BBA. Students having Science in your 12TH can go for BCA . BBA graduates have different sector like HR,finance, Marketing, Consultancy and Banking. After BBA you can join MBA Degree it is also important . After completing BCA they are going to the IT field or they can go for MCA degree. or you can do any job on BCA also. so these are the difference only Commerce students follow the BBA Course and Science students follow the BCA course. Thank you |

Hi Friend,
BBA is Bachelor of Business Administration. after BBA you can go for MBA. if you do MBA in top institutes like IIM then you can get a good job and attractive salary. an MBA graduate from any IIM can get a minimum salary of 7lakhs per annum. you can do your MBA specialisation in the field of your interest. you can go for HR, Finance, Marketing, Hospitality etc or you can establish your own firm. coming to BCA ie Bachelor of Computer Applications. after BCA you can go for MCA. if you complete your MCA fromreputed college or university then you can get a very good job in IT industry. any 12 student withscience background can go for these. All the Best |
