Group A and Group B gazetted posts are recruited by UPSC/PSC/Special Recruitment Drive/ etc or any other board authorized to do so.All the classification regarding a post is Gazetted or not is is done by DoP&T
Gazetted post means any post who are recognizable throughout the union there may be diffrence in pay scale according to organizational heirarchy....! Gazetted means an Authority. A gazetted officer may be leading a section or a whole department according to his experience and years of service tenure. In many govt. organizations Gazetted officer are recruited as direct entry level officer exteremely qualified either from UPSC/or any other commission/Board like in case of DANICS,DANIPS,Section officers of Railways,Assistant Programmer of Delhi Govt/Programmer/engineer-SB of NIC finally Gazetted means an Adhikari/Officer having rites of certain executions |

Dear Friends,
Could you please elaborate on growth of Junior Technical Officers (Gr-B, Gazetted, non-ministirial) in ministry of defence, both in terms of remuneration & promotions. What rank & scale they are assigned after 2 years of probation and growth trend thereafter, highest rank they can hold etc. Can they, by any chance, be promoted to Grp-A cadre? Thanks in advance! |
