Re: Difference between OBC, SBC unreserved category
OBC stands for the Other Backward Caste. SBC stands for the Special Backward Category or caste.
OBC included 346 castes and SBC includes seven caste. Unreserved category is the category which does not have any advantage of reservation. OBC candidates have age relaxation, reserved seats, more number of attempts in entrance exam whereas general or unreserved category has no such benefits. |

Re: Difference between OBC, SBC unreserved category
Difference between OBC and SBC category are:
1-OBC stands for other backward class which consists of 346 castes. People belonging in this category get some special privileges from the Constitution of India. Like students belonging from obc category they will have concession in fees, get scholarship in schools and colleges. And even get job more easily as compared to general category. They have 27% reservation in our country with having more than 54% population. 2-SBC stands for special backward class. They also get same privilege as obc category . SBC include only seven caste. The SBC tag has given to the castes which is morr backward than other castes in OBC. |

Re: Difference between OBC, SBC unreserved category
Unreserved category is the category which does not have any advantage of reservation.
OBC means other backward caste, the castes which have been included in central list of National commission of backward castes. OBC are socially and educationally backward to the General category. So in social terms, in India society General is above/ treated with social respect and acceptance than OBC SBC stands for the Special Backward Category or caste. OBC included 346 castes and SBC includes seven caste. Unreserved category is the category which does not have any advantage of reservation. |

Re: Difference between OBC, SBC unreserved category
OBC (Other Backward Classes), SBC (Special Backward Classes), and the unreserved category are terms used in the context of reservation systems in India.
1. OBC (Other Backward Classes): OBC refers to a category of people who are socially and educationally disadvantaged. They have been identified as relatively backward in terms of social, economic, and educational development. Reservation benefits are provided to individuals belonging to the OBC category to ensure their representation and upliftment. 2. SBC (Special Backward Classes): SBC is a term specific to certain regions in India, such as Rajasthan. It refers to a category of people who are considered socially and educationally disadvantaged in those particular areas. Similar to OBC, reservation benefits may be provided to individuals belonging to the SBC category. 3. Unreserved Category: The unreserved category, also known as the general category or open category, refers to individuals who do not belong to any specific reserved category. They do not receive any reservation benefits and compete for opportunities based on merit alone. |
