My date of birth is 10th, june 1981.GRADUATE .at this stage which kind of government examination can i give in any state GOVT. or central GOVT? . Rail
(travelling ticket examiner), or bank OR ANY OTHER?

The maximum age limit allowed to appear for State and Central Government job examinations is 30 years and the minimum age limit is 21 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as mentioned below:-

--> OBC :- 3 Years
--> SC/ ST :- 5 Years
--> Physically Handicapped (PH) :- 10 years
--> PH + OBC :- 13 years
--> PH + SC/ST :- 15 years
--> Ex-Service Men (OBC) :- 8 Years
--> Ex-Service Men (SC/ ST) :- 10 Years
--> (For Group 'B' posts) Ex-Servicemen( Unreserved/General) :- 5 Years

Since, you have crossed the age limit, you are not eligible for government examinations except if you belong to reserved category candidates. If you belong to above mentioned reservation category, you can appear for various government like IAS, IPS, IES, IFS, etc. which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year.

The Age Limit for state and central government jobs will vary from one job to another. But, for the most of the state government jobs, the age limit is as follows:-

Age limit for state government Jobs:-
21 to 30 years General Category
21 to 33 years OBC Category
21 to 35 years SC/ST Category

21 to 38 years OBC Category
21 to 40 years SC/ST Category

The age limit depends upon the post for which you are applying. Hence, there is no fix age limit for all government jobs and it depends on the post for which you are applying.

For Example, for IAS Officer posts the age limit is 21 to 30 years (age relaxation available for reserved category) and if you are applying for UPSC CDS exam, then the age limit is 19 to 25 years with no age relaxation.

For SSC CGLE exam the age limit is 18 to 27 years for various posts in Central Government offices. If you are applying for SSC Multi Tasking then the age limit is 18 to 25 years.

In Bank Exam the age limit for Bank PO exam is 21 to 30 years but if you are applying for Clerk exam then the age limit is 18 to 27 years.

Hence, the age limit for most of the government jobs is around the above mentioned age limits. Age relaxation is available for candidates who belong to reserved category.

The age limit for different kinds of jobs have different age limits.

Age limit for civil services and engineering services: 21-30 years

Age limit for Banking Sector:
Specialist officer: 21-35 years
PO post: 20-30 years
Clerk post: 18-28 years

Lecturer jobs in TRB / TET : maximum 57 years

For Group exams, age limit is 18-36 years

For police inspector jobs: 21-25 years

In Indian Air force/ Navy/ Army : 17- 25 years (varies with job)

Age limit is vary according the POST .It Depends upon POST Specifications.

for example :-
1. if you are go for the Indian army its age limit is 18-21.

2. if you are go for Police job its age limit is 20-25.

The banking sector job 18- 30 years.
The police job 21-25 years. FOR the state level jobs the minimum age limit is 21-30 years for General catagory but some age relaxation for OBC or SC/ST candidates .
For the Central level job the minimum age limit is 21-35 years for General category and some age relaxation for OBC Candidates/SC/ST candidates.
