Is distance Master's acceptable to be eligible for UGC NET examination?
Am I eligible to apply for UGC NET examination after completing M.Sc in Botany from distance education? And, which subject option would be best for me in UGC NET?

Science stream candidates need to apply for CSIR National Eligibility Test. The eligibility criteria is master's degree in science with minimum of 55% marks in it. There is no upper age limit for lectureship.
The upper age limit for JRF is 28 years. Distance post graduation degrees are valid if they are done from a university approved by UGC and DEC. The best subject for you will be one in which you have completed master's degree. |
