do i need to get 70 in all subject in class 12th board for appearing iist?

If you need to appear for iist then you need to give the entrance exam conducted by IIST-ISAT(IIST admission test).

ISAT is held on a yearly basis.

The minimum requirements as far as the eligibility of ISAT is concerned is 60% in your class 12.

Hence 70 is not mandatory but 60 is mandatory and that too in not all the subjects but only in PCM(phyics, chemistry and maths).

ISAT 2012 is over so you can try your luck in ISAT 2013. The forms come out by february each year in the website 'www.iist.ac.in'.
