I am Hemant who wants to apply for NIMCET 2016. My age is 26 year. Am i eligible for applying NIMCET 2016? Please reply soon.

NIMCET is the entrance examination which is conducted for the MBA program in NIT's.candidates who wish to appear for the NIT for MBA program must check the eligibility criteria for NIMCET and then appear.

1. Aspirants must be citizen of India only

NIMCET is the National Institute of Technology Masters of Computer Entrance Test examination which is conducted every year for the selection of candidates in to the various computer applications program or courses in post graduate level in all the top 11 NIT institutes.

NIMCET Eligibility Criteria:-

• If you have a bachelor's degree in any one of the following subject: B.Sc, BCA, B.Tech from a recognized university then you are eligible to sit for this exam.
• You need to secure not less than 60% of marks at graduation level.
• SC, ST candidates needs to secure 55 % of marks.
• If you are about to appear in qualifying exam then also you are eligible to apply. At the time of admission you have to submit the proof of appearing.
• There is no age criteria to fulfill. So you can apply for it anytime you want after completing graduation.

Exam Pattern:-

• Mathematics- 50 questions
• Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning- 40 questions
• Computer Awareness- 10 questions
• General English- 20 questions

NIMCET application process is carried out online. The notification for the exam will be out by third week of February, 2017. The application fee will be Rs.1800/- for general category and for reserved category it is Rs.900/- . The payment of fees too can be done online.

NIMCET examination is conducted for the admission of candidates in MCA course in the National Institute of Technology.

- Click "New Registration". Fill the all fields & Click "Submit".
- Log In & Press "Apply".
- Fill the application form carefully & Upload the scanned photograph & signature in specified format.
- Pay application fee.
- Verify the all details in application before "Final Submit".
- Print application & Sent it along with required documents to "Secretary , NIMCET-2016 , NIT - Durgapur , M G Avenue Post Office , Durgapur-713209".

As far as the age criteria is concerned for NIMCET, anyone above the age of 21 can apply for this exam.
Also there are other eligibility criteria's such as that you will have to have a graduation degree and a minimum of 55% in that degree to be eligible.
Also the graduation degree must be from a science background.
