It depends from which state ur giving the entrance exam. As for national medical entrance exam like CBSE PMT one should score atleast 50% marks in PCB for general category and atleast 40% for SC, ST& OBC's.
So for CET of their respected state too, the eligibility criteria will be nearer to the mentioned figure. good luck! |

MHT-CET is an Entrance test conducted by the Maharashtra Government for admission into health sciences degree courses. This Entrance Test(MHT-CET 2011) is conducted by the Maharashtra University for inviting all the aspiring candidates to appear in this entrance test for admission into various courses conducted by the University.
Eligibility Criteria: * Candidates must have cleared 10+2 level form the recognized board with at least 50 % aggregate to be eligible for appearing in entrance examination. * Those candidates who are currently pursuing in 12th class can also appear in Examination. Exam Date of MHT-CET 2011: Thursday, 12th May 2011. |

* Candidates with 50 % aggregate in +2 level form the recognized board with at least to be eligible for appearing in entrance examination. the exam is conducted during may every year |

MHT CET is the entrance exam conducted by the Maharastra government for admission into the medical courses. The candidates with +2 qualification are eligible for the exam. The candidate must have secured 50% in the exam. Reservations are made for the home candidates. The exam will be conducted in the month of may next year |

Objective type written test Total number of question: 200 Time allotted: 150 min Number of choices per question: 5 No negative marking CET tends to be heavy on reasoning part and light on quantitative analysis. CET 2006 had roughly the following pattern: Verbal ability: 35 Reading comprehension: 15 Quantitative analysis: 14 Data interpretation: 20 Data sufficiency: 15 Analytical reasoning: 51 Verbal reasoning: 20 Non-verbal reasoning: 30 The total marks for GD/interview/academics/work experience is 40. Eligibility For CET:- 1. Eligibility criteria for admission against the seats coming under CAP (Centralised Allotment Process). In order to secure admission through CAP to this first year of two-year full-time MBA/MMS course, the candidate should fulfill the following: Pass with minimum 45 per cent marks in aggregate (40 per cent in case of backward class candidates from Maharashtra only) in any bachelors degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian University; OR Appeared for the final year examination of any bachelors degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities. OR Appeared for the Common Entrance test (CET), GD and PI conducted by the component for the academic year 2003-04 and secured non-zero CET scores for 2003-04. 2. Eligibility criteria for admissions under minority seats in minority institutes: The candidate should belong to the minority community/group for which the institute has secured minority status. Passed with minimum 45 per cent marks in aggregate in any bachelors degree of minimum three years duration n any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities. OR Appeared for the final year examination of any bachelors degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised u the association of Indian Universities. Appeared for CET, GD and PI for the academic year 2003-04 conducted by the minority quota in that particular institute. OR Appeared for the CET along with GD and PI conducted by the competent authority and secured non-zero CET score for 2003-04. best of luck. |

A candidate should have passed 10 +2 or 2nd PUC or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Marks in qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology should not be less than 50%. (40 % in case of SC / ST / OBC category candidates). Candidate must have studied English as one of the subject in qualifying examination. Candidate must have to secure 50% marks in Physics Chemistry and Biology in Common Entrance Test (CET). This limit is 40% in case of SC / ST / OBC category. |
