Eligibility criteria of JELET 2016
Please explain me that what is the eligibility criteria for jelet exam 2016 ? I have pass my 10 exam and complete the diploma in electrical. Can i give the jelet exam 2016 ?

JELET stands for Joint Entry Exam for Lateral Entry. This exam is conducted by West Bengal Technical board for diploma candidates.
Eligibility criteria: Diploma holders must have done diploma from a AICTE recognized institute. Minimum percentage of marks is 45% for general candidates in diploma and 40% for SC/ST candidates. Those who have done bachelor's degree in science, must have done from UGC recognized university with 45% marks. Official website: http://www.wbjeeb.in |

Yes, you are eligible to appear for JELET examination conducted by West Bengal Education board.
It is conducted for admission of candidates in 2nd year of four year engineering or pharmacy courses. The eligibility to appear for diploma holder in examination is :- * Candidates must have passed diploma degree from a AICTE recognised university. * Candidates must have at least 45% aggregate and relaxation of 5% for reserved category candidates. So, you can appear for examination in 2016. The application form may be available from month of May. |

Yes, as you have completed your diploma in Electrical Engineering hence you can appear in Joint Entrance Exam for Lateral Entry.
Maximum age 27 years. Minimum percentage in passing examination should be 60%. |

Candidates after qualifying in examination are eligible to get admission in 2nd year of course through lateral entry. The eligibility to appear in entrance examination for diploma degree holder is candidates must have passed diploma from a AICTE approved university and have at least 45% aggregate and 5% relaxation in aggregate for SC/ST category. The notifications for 2016 examination is not released yet. So, you can continue your preparation for selection in examination. |

Yes, you can appear for JETLET examination in 2016. But yet there is no notification for 2016 examination is released.
The notification for examination will be most probably released in May. As per 2015 notification to appear in JETLET examination required eligibility is candidates must have passed diploma from a recognised university or have B.Sc degree. Candidates must have at least 45% aggregate in any of course and 5% relaxation in for reserved category candidates. So, you can appear for examination if you have aggregate above 45% in diploma course. |

Sir my name is ram das.. I will complete my diploma in 2016 May.... my age will be 27 in October 2016 .... I have obtained 76.30 average percent ... on 1st year and second year ..... my fifth semester result will be published on March and sixth semester exam will be held on May 2016....
