What is the eligibility criteria for getting into D.U of sociology masters? and what is the syllabus for entrance exam of 2016 of sociology M.A?

Eligibility for M.A in Sociology:

The basic education qualification for do this course is graduation from a recognized university in any stream.

Many of Reputed university demand graduation degree with honors in Sociology as one of subjects from any recognized university.

You must consist at least 45% marks in graduation.

Advanced course in M.A Sociology:

M.Phill Sociology

Ph.D Sociology

# Admission for master degree in Sociology is done through two ways:

* Direct admission: Candidates who have obtained 55% marks or more are eligible for direct admission without undergoing through any entrance examination.

* Admission through an entrance examination: Candidates who have secured 50% marks or more in graduation degree in relevant discipline are considered eligible for said entrance examination

* Candidate with B.A or B.Com. degree are required to have obtained minimum 55% marks in aggregate.
* Candidate with Business Administrative/Public Administration or B.Com (Hons) degree are required to have obtained minimum 55% marks in aggregate.

* Candidate with B.A. (Hons.) in Englishare required to have obtained minimum 55% marks in aggregate

* Candidate with B.A. (Hons.) in any language other than Englishare required to have obtained minimum 55% marks in aggregate
