Re: Eligibility for IES if I am not appearing for GATE exam?
It is not at all necessary to appear in the GATE exams for appearing in the IES exams. To apply for an IES examination the candidate must have an engineering degree or equivalent from a recognized university with the age limit of 21 to 30 years. So you do not have to appear in the GATE to sit in your dream exam.
