I passed +2 with math having marks 54% . Am I elligible for join air force?

Yes you can join IAF after cracking NDA exam,which is held twice every year.

NDA-1 :notification is released in the month of april-may,in employment news and other leading news papers.

NDA-2 :notification is released in the month of october-november,in employment news and other leading news papers.


You will only able to join it only if you score very well,and also if you belongs to backward communities.

if u really want to join air force you can join it if you score 60% + in B.tech and then apply for CDS exam after which you can for interview

It is necessary to have atleast 60% in order to be eligible for air force but dont leave hope because there are a number of fields and can succeed anywhere with our full hard work.

You should have passed your 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics.
You can, however send us your application during your 10+2; provided you meet the eligibility criteria at the time of joining the Academy.

dont worry u can do graduation first with 60% marks and join indian army by cracking CDS exam

sorry dear you cannot write NDA for joining defense forces ,because the eligibility is to score >60% in 12th class.

but you can still make your dream come true after writing CDSE ,but be sure to score atleast 60% in graduation.

i think it is necessary to score atleast 60% in 12th class for writing NDA exams,
so if you really want to join indian airforce then you can do graduation with>60% and apply for:

1)CDSE: it is an exam conducted for graduates by UPSC twice an year and can get more information from :
www.upsc.gov.in

2)UES,SSC and fast track entry: these are the exams conducted by indian airforce and you can get more information for these enteries from:

sorry you are not eligible for joining air force as for giving any defence exam you should have scored minimum 60% in 12th class,but you have scored 54% so you cant go.

just 54% in 12th hey this percentage will create problem for joining air force you can join army so go on for further studies in graduation or engineering and apply for cds exams .........

sorry friend,you cant join airforce bcause it requires at least 60% including english in class 12th.but dont worry u can join after completing your grajuation,and you should get atleast 60% in graduation then after u can give cds exam and can join airforce..

at this time your are not eligible,because it require 60% in 12th,so nothing can be done for airforce now.

i am sorry you cant becuse you have to score above 60% marks to get selected for IAF academy .try harder in graduation and then apply for CDSE . all the best and good luck ..

Hello Mahender,

Indian Air Force can be joined through NDA after 10+2.
NDA exam is conducted by UPSC and it is conducted twice every year -
In the month of April and August.

If you clear 12 board exam, then you are eligible to write NDA exam and opt Indian Air Force if you are a science student.

you are eligible for that but firstly you have to apply for NDA exem...

Don't loose hope. secure above 60% in graduation and then apply for CDS exam. after cracking this exam , you would be able to join IAF. you have another chance if you belongs to backward classes.you can appear in NDA exams .

60% is necessary for joining nda in class12 ,but still you could go for with 60% marks in bachlor degree from cds.

Candidate should have 50% or above in 10 + 2 exam.So you are eligible.

If you are between 17 to 19.5 yrs in age then you can join air force through NDA.

Beside this also you can apply for apply for IAF,through Category X or Y ,qualification required Diploma in engineering or graduate in arts.

After B.Tech you can apply through UES also.
