the elligibilty for k cet after 12th is minimum of 50% marks in 12th aggregate and 50% in the PCB(physics, chemistry, biology) group. for k cet u have to be a akrnatak domiciled with any of the parent must have resided in karnataka for at least 10yrs and you have to produce a tehsildar certificate of that place. nri quota is not given for k cet but it is available for comed - k, which is the exam taken by private engineering and private colleges of karnataka.

I have my son studying in Saudi Arabia in IXth, I want to shift back to Bangalore/Karnataka/India for his studies at the college, but I need to know how appropriate is to shift for Ist PUC instead of now. i.e. as an NRI ( We, parents have studied in Karnataka). Also, would appreciate to know what difference does it make between an an NRI with a Non-NRI in financial terms....Best Regards..AK
