I am a high school teacher. I am B.A. holder with 49% marks. I wand to do LLB through open or distance from IGNOU. Am I eligible for LLB degree?

Eligibility criteria for LLB from IGNOU:-

You should have completed the graduation from a recognised with 45% of marks.

It is a three year duration course and the age should be between these limits .

Maximum age should be : 30 years( General and OBC )

For reserved candidates ( SC /ST ) 35 years.

Eligibility criteria for LLB from IGNOU:-

> You should have complete the graduation from the recognized University with minimum 45% marks.

> For Sc/St candidates the minimum marks required is 40%.

> Maximum age limit of the candidate is 30 years.

> For reserved categories, 5 years relaxation is given.

Eligibility for LLB (Bachelor of Legislative Law):-

• To apply for LLB minimum qualification required to apply is graduation like B.A, B.Com, B.Sc from government recognized institute with minimum 40% marks obtained, 35% marks of SC/ST category candidates.
  
• Applicant who have done post graduate degree and want to do LLB will get 2% weight age.
  
• To get admission in reputed institute for LLB course you must have to appear in entrance exams like CLAT (Common Law Admission Test), LAWCET (Law Common Entrance Test). Entrance exams are based on question types like Reasoning, Mathematics, English and general knowledge.
  
• Duration of LLB course is 3 years.
