Am I eligible to appear for NIFT as I have to quit B.E. in this year only (third year,5th sem) and I had passed out 10+2 on 2008 ?

you have join NIFT after 12th or any bachelor degree in fashion design.

For all the above Bachelor’s program the minimum educational qualification of the candidate is that he/she should have completed 10+2 from any Public School/ Board/ University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system or should have passed grade in Sr. Secondary Examination conducted by National Open School with minimum of five subjects

For master degree in Fashion design...
Graduate or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities OR Diploma in Accessory / Fashion Design / FIT from NIFT only.

Master of Fashion Technology (M.F Tech.) in Apparel Production:

Eligibility: B.E. / B. Tech (Textiles / Apparel / Mechanical / Industrial / Production/ Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology)

Master of Fashion Technology (M.F Tech.) in Design Space:

Eligibility: Graduate or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities OR Diploma in Accessory / Fashion/Textiles/Communication Design or any Design discipline / FIT from

Yes, you are eligible to appear in NIFT entrance exam since you fulfill their eligibility requirements.

For doing Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F Tech.) course from NIFT the eligibility criteria is as follows:

Candidate should have completed 10+2 from any Public School/ Board/ University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 system or should have passed grade in Sr. Secondary Examination conducted by National Open School with minimum of five subjects.

NIFT has no age bar for any of the programs.

IFT 2011 Eligibility for Bachelor Program – Design or Technology
for applying B.Design and B.F Tech the eligibility should be 12 class passed from any recognized board.

I'm doing BE third year in bangalore. I want to quit this and join NIFT for fashion desiging. Am i eligible? I'm not interested in BE. I have made up my mind to quit. Due to parents pressure i had to join BE. So please tell me am i eligible for fashion technology in NIFT?

pls help me.After my 10th i did my diploma in Mechanical engg(3 yr course) so that i will be eligible to get directly into 2nd year BE mech.though is passed with a 70% in diploma 2007, due to some problem i couldnt do my engineering,now from past 3yrs i am working as a mechandiser in banglore with a salary of 20000/-pm.now i would like to continue in this field only,so pls advise am i eligible to get into NIFT .

also pls tell when the classes begin

is there a evening clases/sunday clases and the fees structure.

Eligibility criteria for NIFT :

1. You should be a 10+2, ie 12th pass from a recognized government board, from any school.

2. You must have studied minimum 5 subjects in your 10+2.

3. Any stream student can apply for NIFT (National Institute for fashion technology ).

4. No age limit and no. of attempts.

So even when you have taken a drop, you can apply for NIFT.

i m doing BE from cmputer science ,as m not interested in BE and wnt to persue nift ..........can i take admission in nift for PG after my degree...???...if yes then how.....???
