According to UGC norms, NET qualified candidates are considered for the job position of Asst Professor. Ph.D holders can apply directly for the position. NET exam is conducted by UGC. The exam is conducted two times in a year, June and December. After qualifying the test, you can apply for the post through the web portal of the concerned institute.
