MCA is Master in Computer Application and it is two year master degree course.

The common eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

In most of the institutes it is mandatory to have mathematics as one paper in 12th and bachelor degree.

So, kindly visit the institute in which you want to get admission for more confirmation regarding the admission. The required minimum aggregate to appear for examination also varies with institutes.

Entrance examination is conducted for admission in the course.

MCA stands for Master of Computer Applications. This is a 3 year Post Graduation course being offered by many of the colleges in India.

Here is the eligibility criteria to join this course.

One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream with a minimum of 50% of marks.

Candidates should have gone through Mathematics as the mandatory subject either in 10+2 or in Graduation.

The admission would be given on the basis of Entrance Exam.

There are state level Entrance Exams like AP ICET and National Level Entrance Exams like NIMCET.

Unfortunately you are not eligible to join MCA course as you do not have Mathematics either in 10+2 or in Graduation.

Moreover it is not a good choice of opting for MCA course without having any previous academic background.

I would suggest you to opt for MBA course at Post Graduation instead of MCA.

Some good specializations in MBA course are
MBA in Finance
MBA in Accounting
MBA in Entrepreneurship Management
MBA in International Business
MBA in Marketing Management
MBA in Human Resource Management

MCA refers to Master of Computer Application and same is a master degree course with good career scope in the software world.

The minimum education required for pursuing MCA degree course is a bachelor degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks ( or 60% marks in case of some colleges ) from a recognized university. Further, candidate is required to have pursued Mathematics as a main subject for at least one year in his/her bachelor degree or higher secondary school degree.
