Re: Eligibility to study MCA for BSc(Maths) graduate with 51% marks?
MCA refers to Master of Computer Application and it is a professional master degree course with a very good scope in IT industry and software world.
The minimum education required for pursuing MCA degree course is a bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks ( or 50% in case of some institutes ) from a recognized university. Further, the candidate must have pursued Mathematics as a major subject at Class 12th or graduation degree level from a recognized university. So, having completed your B.Sc (H) degree course in Mathematics with 51% marks from a recognized university, you are eligible to pursue MCA degree course but your options will be limited as you cannot seek admissions in colleges demanding for more than 51% marks in Bachelor degree course. |
