Exams After B.Tech ECE

There are innumerable exams for which you can appear after B.Tech ECE but the main thing is to pursue you interest..

The following can be some of your options :-

1) IES (Indian Engineering Service) :- Since you are B.Tech in ECE stream hence you are eligible for the elite government jobs in engineering if you clear the IES exam..
You just need to be in the age limit of 21-30 years for general category..21-33 years for OBC and 21-35 years for SC/ST candidates..
The maximum number of attempts for General category is 4,for OBC its 7 and for SC/ST there is no limit..


2) Civil Service Exams :- In case you want to go for the elite government jobs like IAS,IPS,etc..then you can appear for the Civil Service Exams..
The age limit and number of attempts is the same as for IES..


3) GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) :- In case you want to study more and want to solidify your knowledge in your stream then you can appear for GATE for admission in the best colleges for M.Tech..


4) MBA (Master of Business Administration) :- In case you want to go in for management..then you can appear for CAT,MAT,XAT,JIPMER,SNAP,etc for admissions into the best institutions for MBA..

You can better decide yourself of which entrance exam to appear for after completion of B.Tech in ECE. Try to appear for the entrance exam depending upon the course you want to join or depending upon the job you want to join.

Soon after the completion of B.Tech in ECE, if you want to pursue MBA course, then appear for any of the following entrance exams
-CAT
-MAT
-GMAT

In order to be eligible for MBA course, you should have to secure a minimum of 50% of marks in your B.Tech ECE.

In contrast to that, if you are interested in joining M.Tech course, then crack GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) Exam.

To be eliigble for this exam, you should have completed Graduation in Engineering. Even pre-final year candidates are also eligible to take GATE Exam.

Apart from the higher studies, if you want to appear for entrance exams to join in job opportunities, then you can appear for
-Bank PO Exams
-Railway Exams
-Civil Services
-Defence Exams.

EXAMS FOR B-TECH ECE CANDIDATE

You have completed your B-TECH in ECE. But your graduation marks is must be 60% above because below mention organization have criteria is above 60% in graduation . This percentage is vary from organization to organization.

So you have many options to go like govt sector ,private sector or higher study also.

The govt sector options are -DRDO , BARC , ONGC , ISRO , NIC , IGDR , UPSC EXAM , BSNL JTO ,SAIL , BHEL , IOCL , NTPC ,BANK PO etc.The age limit for those organization is maximum 30 years .Age relaxation provide only for SC/ST /OBC candidate.

Also you are eligible in private sector also . the private sector company are TCS , CTS , IBM, HP,L&T, ALUNUS ,WIPRO etc.

The higher study options are MS , MBA ,M-TECH ,JRF ,SRF ,PHD etc.

Also you must be qualify in GATE ,CAT,MAT ,XAT exam.

Number of bank are available according to your % you can join

some software companies like:

Cognizant.


To apply for these jobs you should have knowledge about the Apptitude and Reasoning and Good communication skills
