First of all I congratulate you if you have been selected in the IIM - Ahmadabad .
It is a very good institute with good infrastructure , good education , good and qualified faculties and good placement records ....

After passing from the IIM-A students get placement either in India or even abroad in countries like that of the Malaysia , Singapore , and many others .
They are recruited by the various multinational companies giving the pay package of around 30-50 lakhs per annum on an average basis ...

As from Sources out of 66 students seeking placements, 64 have been successfully placed. The average salary or Expected salary for the batch was Rs 26.1 lakh for the year 2010 and its an Increase from 2009 years batch because it was 20 lakh average salary for this year's batch. At the end of the placement process, every student on an average received 1.77 offers.

IIM A is best B school in IIMs.

The expected minimum salary after MBA in IIM A is 40 lac per annum.

And maximumu salary ranges upto 70 lac approx.

It is very difficult to generalize and tell the expected salary of an IIM-A student. It is one of the premier business schools in the country. All most of the students will be taken in to some firm or they will start their own business. The average salary of a post graduate from IIM-A would be around 24 lakhs per annum. The average value may go up and down, depending on the market demand.

IIM-A is the awesomest campus in terms of the intellectual capacity and rigour. The average package is around 30 lakhs(plus some other benefits).It is silly to think of package after passing out from this college as most of them wuld end end being crorepatis and at the helmin their careers. IIM A rocks..!!
