Eye-sight correction permitted for qualifying CDS exam?
can one get selected in CDS with eye-site as worse as 5 and 5.5 if he is using lenses in any of the 3 sites(ie land, navy n air)???
As any kinda surgery won't be entertained!! And i've BE in CSE. so is there any chance of getting in?? |

Dear Friend
If you eye is as worse as 5 and 5.5 then you are not eligible for any of the service of Combined Defence Services. Even if you undergo LASER operation or some other operation for correction of eyes you will be rejected at the time of medical fitness test. I would suggest you find a job according to your qualification in areas other than Defence Services. |

No friend,
Eye-sight correction is not permitted for becoming Army, Navy or Air force officer. You will be allowed for written test but in the medical fitness you will be rejected. |

dear sir or madam ,i want to know that how many marks we have to get in cds written for qualifing.And gk and eng. marks count seprately or combine. please tell us sir we are eagerly waiting for your answer...
